Pakistan got closer to win on Day 3 at Sydney. Pakistan were dismissed for 333 runs in 1st innings, which gave them a lead of 206 runs. Pakistan needed to get early break through to register a win on day 3 itself. But Shane Watson and Philip Hughes gave a good start to Australia with a opening stand of 105 runs. Shane Watson, once again, fell victim to nervous nineties. He was dismissed after making 97 runs. Australia were looking good at 216-3 when Pakistan bowlers started hitting the sticks. Umar Gul and Danish Kaneria didnt give any chances to Australian batsmen and kept taking wickets at regular intervals. Mike Hussey was another batsman who showed some resistance. He was unbeaten at 73 along with Peter Siddle (10 runs) at the end of day’s play. i am very happy that pakistan has done a tremendous job in the bowling especially kaneria and gul he knows that he is not giving 100% to his team .he realise that and know he also want to give a match winning performance. but hard luck for asif . but he is the perfect man in the pakistani team.
but know our batting should be excellent we have to win the test for noloss. and saying to pakistan we have the capability of fitting back.
