Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Off Spinner Harbhajan Singh are ruled out of the 1st Test Match against Bangladesh. MS Dhoni was already declared unfit for the match. Dhoni is suffering from back strain. Virender Sehwag will lead the team in Dhoni’s absence. Dhoni injured his back yesterday during the morning practice session. Dinesh Karthik will keep the wickets during the match. Dhoni didnt come in yesterday’s press conference either and Sehwag addressed all the questions. Indian team manager Arshad Ayub said “Dhoni didn’t want to take any chances and decided at the team-meeting in the evening that he wouldn’t play the Test. Karthik will replace him.” Another bad news for India came this morning when Harbhajan Singh too was declared unavailable for the match. He is unavailable due to stiff neck. This will give Amit Mishra a chance to prove his potentials in the middle.
