Fight For Top Spot in Group D

The 8th of the ICC T20 world is going to be played between the hosts and England. Both the teams have some famous star performers who can turn the match at any moment so that will be a great contest to watch. The host will try to make happy their fans as they are playing in their home. On the other hand England will try to start their tournament with victory. The advantage will be on the West Indies as they have won their first game already against the Ireland with great margin so they will try to maintain their pace. England has performed well in the warm-up matches so their confidence will also be very high.

West Indies

West Indies started their tour with the victory against Ireland but that victory is not said to be very comprehensive because their star player were failed to perform. They have to improve their mistakes when they will take on England in their second league match of group D on Monday. Darren Sammy done his part in the previous match against Ireland with a knock of 30 in just 17 balls but the performance of rest of the batsmen could be a problem for the hosts.
The absence of Chris Gayle can also affect their strength but they have to perform well to make their fans happy as they are playing in their own country. The main advantage of the hosts is their bowling line up as Rampaul, Bravo and Kemar Roach have shown some remarkable bowling spells and lead their team to a victory with very good margin of 70 runs. The performance of their captain and all-rounder Bravo will matter a lot if they want to win their 2nd match and to make their way for the next round.

England

The great news for the England team is their star batsman Kevin Pietersen is back in form as he has shown some wonderful knocks in IPL. England also has very good opening batsmen Michael Lumb and Craig Kieswetter which can make their team win easy. Eoin Morgan can also be very handy for the England in the middle order along with Captain Paul Collingwood who has also played very well in IPL.
Graeme Swann will be very helpful for the England by using his natural guile and characteristic spunk. England will depend on Michael Yardy as he has impressed with his slow left arm spin balling. Both Yardy and Swann has done well in the warm up matches. The form of captain Collingwood is also a good signal for the English team. The fielding of the England can make the difference they have to do well in this area if they want to start their tour with the victory against the host.

So both the teams are equally strong and full of star players so nobody can guess who is going to win the match. West Indies will really miss their strike batsman Chris Gayle but they will try to cope with up on the other hand England have KP who is in very good form so it is going to be a very interesting match.
