Tilakratne Dilshan has recovered from his groin injury and is likely to play in match against India on Sunday, 10th January. Tilakratne Dilshan had a very good 2009 with bat in all forms of cricket.

He injured himself during his match winning innings of 104 against Bangladesh in the opening match of the tournament.

“We could have even considered him playing today (against Bangladesh) but we held him back. He has a very good chance of playing against India,” Kuruppu (Sri Lanka team manager) told reporters after Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by nine wickets.

Sri Lanka is the only unbeaten in team in this tournament till now. Return of inform Dilshan and Mahela Jayawardene finding his form will boost Sri Lanka even more.
